Elektrim Motors, a subsidiary of Toolmex Industrial Solutions, has an immediate opening for a confident, extroverted, results-driven outside sales professional who can actively manage and increase electric motor sales. The ideal candidate will be a strong consultative seller that strives to understand the customer’s business, industry, and needs, and crafts Elektrim solutions to help the customer achieve their objectives.


Key responsibilities include developing relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), managing pricing strategies, following up on quotes, credit terms and delivery timetables. Verifies all commercial and technical aspects of quotations,interfaces with our inside sales team as well as other departments that may be involved in the sale. **Regular travel is required.**


Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree (engineering or related field preferred) and possess at least 7-10 years of **relevant** industrial sales experience specifically with AC electric motors.


Experience with pumps, compressors, fans, extruders, conveyors and other industrial equipment applications is a plus.


We're looking for hunters that have great presentation skills, strong presence and ability to communicate with people at all levels. Ability to build long term business relationships and offer solutions to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Drives sales growth and implements initiatives as directed by senior management, including executing price strategy in accordance with group goals and programs.

  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of each service, product and application.

  • Successfully interprets specifications and coordinates technical assistance as needed.

  • Analyzes needs and provides customer with appropriate product and substantiated information to assure customer is equipped with the knowledge needed to make an informed purchasing decision.

  • Actively grows the pipeline and industry footprint through coordinated activities with support staff to target leads, identify potential, and develop/execute a penetration strategy.

  • Provides timely feedback to management regarding performance, customer, competitor and market trends.

  • Participates in trade shows, regional and local events as required.

  • Maintains sales automation tool (CRM) with updates to contacts, pipeline, opportunities, quotes and forecast.

  • Travels required more than 60% of the time.

Requirements
  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant industrial sales experience specifically with AC motors. Experience with pumps, compressors, fans, extruders and conveyors a plus.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience

  • Successful management experience, including sales forecasting

  • Moderate proficiency of Microsoft Office software (Outlook,Excel, Word)

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

  • Well versed in consultative and transactional selling techniques

  • Strong problem solving, analytical, planning and execution skills required

  • Project management, negotiating, strategic development skills and entrepreneurial skills required
